Honeyback

Honeyback is a kind little flying game for phones by the Ecency team, with optional Hive account linking.

Honeyback is “a kind little flying game by Ecency”. You fly a bee through gates, rewind when you crash, send honey to a stranger once a day and restore a garden that faded. Its tagline is “Kindness comes back.”

Learn more on the Honeyback page.

  • Fly: one tap keeps the bee in the air. Gates come faster the further you go. Every gate is a point.
  • Rewind: a crash is not the end. Rewind a few seconds and take the gate again. Three rewinds a run are free.
  • Send honey: once a day, send honey to another player. It costs you nothing and they get coins. Kindness comes back as karma.
  • Restore the garden: pieces you gather restore a faded garden, stage by stage. Each stage dresses the bee and the world.

You can play without a Hive account. If you have one, you can link it through Ecency, HiveSigner or Keychain. Then:

  • Your Hive name shows on the leaderboard and on the honey you send.
  • A new phone finds your garden again when you link the same account.

No key ever enters the game. Linking only shares your account name and a one-time signed login proof. You can unlink at any time in the game’s Settings.

When you share a result from the game (a score, your best run, a garden stage or a day streak), it gets its own card on ecency.com. From that card you can Post it on Waves to share it with the Hive community.

Honeyback is a mobile game. It is available on Google Play; search for “Honeyback”. The Honeyback page is the place to check for store links.

Honeyback keeps an anonymous install id and your play data, plus your Hive name only if you link it. It uses rewarded ads only when you choose to watch one. In the game’s Settings you can reopen “Privacy choices”, unlink your Hive account, or use “Delete my data”. Read the full Honeyback privacy policy.
